The General Strike is embracing a wide and important range of issues, including the Iraq war; election fraud; surveillance, torture and civil rights; corporate media; military profiteering; and the 9/11 coverup. If you're disturbed by what's happening in the U.S., participating in the general strike is an excellent way to make your opinion known. Nothing makes tyrants more nervous than the power of the people to gather, to share, and to demonstrate.
